This is what I found, (OAT about 12C)
The procedure ASAP to start,
1:- Chocks In/ Fuel ON / Prop 100%
2:- Set max steady RPM setting for a cold engine
3:- set Boost control ON
4:- all radiators closed.
5:- Then wait a set time before then applying max throttles. i.e engine will cough but run up, usually with a lag of 5-10 secs.
Beau-fighter: Throttle :- 10% Time :- 1:30 mins
Blenheim Early/Late : Throttle :- 10% Time :- 1:30 mins
Spitfire 1(100) :- Throttle :- 20% Time :- 50 secs
Spitfire 1a (100oct) :-Throttle :- 20% Time :- 50 secs
Spitfire 2a :- Throttle :- 20% Time :- 40 secs
BR20 :- Throttle :- 10% Time :- 4:15 mins
G50 : Throttle :- 10% Time :- 45 Secs.
