BA VI - Remerciement à l'escadrille N62

#1

Message par *DD*_GenMarkof »

Bonjour messieurs,

GenMarkof a+

-----------------------------------------

BONUS MISSION OVERVIEW
Email announcement will go out later today hopefully but in the meantime... a preview for those checking the forums.

We will play the bonus mission twice on Saturday -at the standard 2pm EST opening time, and then once again directly afterwards.

This mission is different...

Play is centered around 9 weak-points that have been identified in the German line by the Entente. At the beginning of the mission, the Entente will randomly select 3 of those weak points to attempt a breakthrough -one in the North, one in the middle, and one in the South.

British armored units will begin moving from jump-off points to attack these areas and Entente pilots will be informed of those breakthrough locations, which will last for the duration of the mission.
Central side will be informed of the locations as they come under attack, and by pilots who spot the advancing British forces from the air.

Entente have the following missions:
1. Offensive ground support - the weak-points are guarded by dug in gun emplacements. Destroying the guns will make capture of the weakpoint easier for the tanks.
2. Counter-attack defense - once secured, the weak-points will be counter-attacked by German troops and also come under artillery fire. Continued air support may be necessary to keep control of them.
3. Find and then complete photo recons of marshaling areas of counterattacking German units so that they can then be disrupted by artillery bombardment.
4. Complete photo recons of German artillery batteries defending the weak-points so that they can then be attacked and destroyed.
5. Defend attack jump-off points so that successive waves of British reinforcements into the breach are not disrupted.
6. Provide fire spotting correcting via radio to the Royal Navy cruiser squadron. (Stay in the area for at least 5 minutes. Leaving or getting shot down stops the count, entering the area starts it.) - can be completed up to six times - only possible with radio equipped Felixstowes.

Central have the following missions:
1. Ground support - defend weak-points which are being attacked by the British by taking out enemy armored units supporting the ground assault.
2. Complete photo recons of British attack jump-off points and then destroy the vehicle sheds in order to slow down the flow of British reinforcements towards the weak-point.
3. Defend German marshaling areas so that ground counter-attacks remain strong.
4. Defend German artillery batteries supporting the weak-points.
5. Provide fire spotting correcting via radio to the German cruiser squadron. (Stay in the area for at least 5 minutes. Leaving or getting shot down stops the count, entering the area starts it.) - can be completed up to six times - only possible with radio equipped HB W.12s

All photo recons will require 15 plates to complete in the normal fashion.
However this is late 1918 - the front line is crumbling and maps can no longer be updated and issued to the troops to be completely accurate. Therefore:

Entente attack jump off points are not marked on the map for Central forces to recon. They must be identified from the air.
They look like 3 sets of 6 rectangular garages together in a cluster.

Central marshaling areas and artillery batteries are not marked on the map for Entente forces. They must be identified from the air.
Marshaling areas look like giant star shaped infantry bases or as some have suggested prison camps.
Artillery batteries look like... artillery batteries - with 4 gun emplacements side by side and some nearby tents. Make sure youre attacking occupied emplacements. There will also be 8 empty emplacements.

Weather: Sunny and clear but hazy with a light wind from the North at 1 m/s. Temperature at 22.5 C.
Sea State: 1.5
Death penalty: 20 minutes
Weapon Mods: On
Planesets: Replenish every hour.

Entente:
6 x Spad XIII
6 x Hanriot
6 x Sopwith Camel
6 x Sopwith Dolphin
6 x SE5a
12 x Bristol Fighters
6 x Airco DH.4s
6 x RE8
6 x Felixstowe

Central:

4 x Pfalz D.III
4 x Fokker Dr.I
6 x Fokker D.VIIF
12 x Fokker D.VII
6 x Fokker D.VIII
6 x Pfalz D.XII
6 x Hansa-Brandenburg W12
6 x DFW C.V
4 x Halb Cl2
6 x Halb Cl2 200HP

After a two hour period, the mission ends. Scoring will probably NOT be fully implemented for this mission.

Thanks,

Matthias.

Merci pour l'information, si je comprends bien, cela signifie qu'une première mission est lancée à 19h et une autre à 21h (Heure française) et que tous le stocke des appareils est regénéré au bout d'une heure ?
