Ok, sorry for english...


Bad news for all that were active.

I have
- left the project
- cancelled the contract for the server
- stopped working on that project

Reason: This project seemes to be 'dead'
There was not enough activity to make a 'sortie' after relaunch.
And I really did everything I could do to set up the server and the mission...
But finally I had to make a decision. And I made it...

After spending months on creating the mission, hosting the server (and paying for it)
and beeing more frustrated than happy for the last time
I can only say 'THANKS (and sorry)' to the few persons helping me and beeing active
but without enough active players I really see no need (and have no enery) to continue.

Whenever you see a way to get this real active (again???) let me know.
My knowledge on creating missions and the work behind the scenes will stay
but my will to continue working on it is gone at the moment...

Many thanks for all you work deciman, I feel ashamed that I didn't participate more to your project, some (temporarily) changes put me quite away from flight sims. Hope that all your hard work could be reused someday?!

The work I've put into this project is not gone.
Maybe with Flying Circus (RoF under IL2) there is a way to get a 'rebirth' of it.
And the RoF-Mission-Engine is only a former instance of the IL2-Mission-Engine.
So most of the things I've figured out may work there, too...

And declaring that project as 'dead' is absolutely not because of one (or some) pilots beeing inactive,
but because of too many püilots beeing inactive.

The fact is:
It was not possible to get enough those few active pilots together to make a single sortie.
And flying arround with 5 players total makes no sense (and is no fun for the players)...

Thanks for the suggestion: that was a clever idea

Just one question: there seems to be no skin folder for the G6 Erla. And without it no other skin than the default one can be used. Which is a pity.

Is it possible to add one? What do you call it?
