On n'a aucune date prévisionnelle, même grossière?

Pour le PA, aux dernières nouvelles (mais elles ne sont peut être plus à jour), ils attendaient que ED finalise le supercarrier pour en pas avoir à faire et refaire le même travail.

Pour le F14, je ne sais pas.

Tweaked AIM-54 PN coefficients for smoother transitions and a slightly better effect at long range (to try and counter the disadvantages of the current terminal guidance compromise).
Added preliminary/ rudimentary TCS trim support (just works visually for now and remains WIP).
Fixed AIM-54 Logic regarding TCS Target tracking.
Taught JESTER to turn on AWG-9/AIM-54 cooling as appropriate during poststart procedure. (Fixes cooling light not going off unless it was cycled to off and on again).
Fixed Cmptr/Target designator sometimes jumping slightly on HUD when designating a Ground Point.
Added textures to intake covers for static F-14.
Fixed broken shading near airbrake on top rear fuselage.
Fixed broken shading, AO and RoughMets on spine GPS antenna.
Tweaked intensity of landing light slightly.
Fixed lack of night illumination on RIO TID rollers.
Partial fix to lack of night illumination on Weapon selection roller. (Known bug: illumination shows only “turn” at the moment).
Fixed lack of night illumination on AWG-9 Range Gauge.
Flipped green/amber lights on RIO Advisory panel.
Fixed Ejection seat arming lever remaining after RIO Ejects.
Fixed possible cause for CTD during compressor stalls.

Included Supercarrier versions for Syria Quickstart missions.
Added Quickstart Free Flight mission for the Channel map.
Fixed scripting error in Time Trial missions.
Updated AIM-54 countermeasure resistance probabilities.
Fixed MLC Auto not using actual antenna elevation above horizon.
Fixed keybindings not incrementing panel and gauge lights appropriately.
Fixed RIO annunciator light intensities.
Increased intensity of slime lights (= formation lights).
Corrected roughness of intake ramps.
Fixed broken normals on intake areas.
Fixed unwelded vertices on engine nacelle.
Fixed mismatch intake ramp color on default livery.
Fixed incorrectly assigned textures on exterior gear doors and right wing.
Fixed missing fuselage in cockpit view.
Re-added normal map on TCS pod.
Rudders will now detach with heavy damage.
Increased size of fuel tank hitboxes to more closely match real life sizes.
Adjusted damage model to be less “tanky” with direct missile hits.
Improved aerodynamic damage effects.
NEW: Added fire and smoke animations for engine fire and compressor stalls (WIP).
Fixes to Cage the Bear Campaign - thank you Kaba!
Several fixes to Quickstart missions.
Fixed ARC-159 mode keybindings (guard,manual,preset,inc,dec).
Jester will set AN/ARC-182 to AM now when starting cold.
Fixed AOA Indexer Brightness step up/down keybindings.
NEW! Added ability to hide HUD Camera: click the HUD camera in the cockpit to remove it. (F-14 pilots could carry hex wrenches to remove the HUD camera, especially for landing.)
Fixed ARC-159 keybinds (and reverted preset/guard being switched).

La campagne ne fait pas partie comme c'était prévu de la mise à jour de l'OB du 17.12.2020. Par contre on peut la télécharger ici.

Fonctionnement du phoenix corrigé:
SME input finally led us to discover the proper activation criteria. The 16s TTI was a crew rule of thumb, which we interpreted wrongly so far. It never really appeared to us, since such things are not readily available in manuals which are readily available themselves. With the TTI being off lately, we started re-investigating and asking our SMEs more indepth about it, where it got noted that the 16s TTI was wrongly implemented as activation criterion previously. Funny enough: since we did the change, the TTI flashing active will be much more often close to 16s now, than it was before. Also, note that the TTI itself has been improved and is more accurate now. The 16s can remain as a rule of thumb, but what you are looking for now is when the TTI starts to flash, whether that is at 13 seconds or 16 seconds does not matter anymore in that sense.

Note that in real life distance matters for detection. We believe this isn't really modeled in DCS, but what holds up is the missile's cone. A small target might slip out of the cone at/around activation when maneuvering easier than a large target, so that is one thing to be kept in mind. It is likely if trying to send it active on a missile as target at 13nm, the phoenix won't detect it. IRL as mentioned that would be also limited with detection range of the missile's radar relative to target size, but again, that is likely not reflected in DCS.

Another thing to keep in mind: further away activation will let you go cold sooner, but give the bandit more warning. Close in activation will give the bandit a later warning, but you need to support the missile further. Something to be weighed, when selecting the TGT size.
Two questions on this:
- Once the go-active command has been send, the Phoenix does not recieve DL updates, correct?
- Can the target size (and hence the go-active distance) be changed for a Phoenix that is already in the air?
- iirc: IRL it would, but not in DCS, as active is kind of hard-modeled, means a missile can be either or, but not both. iirc, and Naquaii can correct me here if I am wrong, IRL it could also be both active and SARH at the same time, something which isn't possible in DCS.
- negative: tgt size needs to be selected prior to launch.
